Virtual Guide

The aim of this exhibition is to present the history of medicine through the perspective of the lands of present-day Bulgaria and the city of Plovdiv, viewed as a crossroads of cultures and social processes that have shaped the character of the region. The exhibition leads us to the present day and to the role of one of Bulgaria’s most prestigious higher education institutions - the Medical University of Plovdiv - its structures, and its mission as a guardian and a source of knowledge.
